Then give it a relevant name so you remember that it was the blog you imported to WordPress. You can change the location of the blog if you want and then click on ‘Create’. Text Insertion

Once the new template is created, there will be default coding. Delete it! Now all you need to do is copy and paste the code from the snippet given below. Don’t forget to update it. This is a shortcut to directly convert your blog file into the CSV format. 

Preview Your HubSpot To WordPress Migration

Now go to the top right corner of your portal and click on the ‘Preview’ button. You can choose the type of preview that you want to run from the drop-down menu whether Live with different display options or static. Select the static option for migration from HubSpot to WordPress. Now select all the text and copy it. Choose the ‘blog_recent_posts’ function and then you can migrate up to 200 blogs. Good news! If you are using a higher version than you can import up to 1000 blogs.

Now Let’s Start With The Importing!

Once you click on WordPress, the Admin page will open. Now click on ‘All import’ on the left side to create an all new Admin page. As you click on ‘All Import’ a pop-up will emerge! Select ‘Upload a file’. Now choose the .CSV folder that has all your blogs that you want to migrate from HubSpot to WordPress. An ‘upload complete’ message will appear once it’s done. Check whether the entire data from the .CSV folder is uploaded. 

Start With The Importing

Now let’s map all the data according to the WordPress fields. Now start dragging and roping the file name from the content area on the right. Remember to add all the content in its respective fields.

In the Pro version you can directly configure the image importer by expanding the images as you wish. You can also expand the tags, taxonomies and categories. 

Once this is done you will be redirected to the page for your category check. Now drag and drop the post category in the respective fields. Scroll down to ‘ Other post options’ and map the data as per your needs. You can select post status, post dates, comments, post slug, post author before the import.

Now click on ‘Auto-detect’ and then ‘Continue’. Now the entire summary report will come on-screen. Just select ‘Confirm’ and then choose ‘Confirm’ and finally click on ‘Run Import’. Once it’s all done you will receive the message ‘Import complete’.
