Client Overview

The client is a US-based indoor go-kart racing destination. It runs multiple indoor tracks with electric karts and welcomes a wide mix of guests: families, kids, serious racing fans, and corporate groups.

The business makes money from track time, memberships, birthday parties, corporate events, and racing leagues. That means it needs a steady flow of two very different types of customers. One group is parents booking an event or a party. The other is motorsports fans looking for their next race. Both groups need to be reached in different ways, and the venue needs bookings coming in all year, not just in busy seasons.

The client came to TRooInbound to make its paid advertising work harder. The goal was simple: fill the tracks by driving real bookings and leads.

Their Challenges

challenge with paid media

They faced a specific type of challenge with paid media, such as:

  • Two audiences, one budget: Parents planning a party respond to very different messages than racing enthusiasts chasing speed. The account had to speak to both without wasting money showing the wrong ad to the wrong person.
  • Every dollar has to count: The monthly ad budget was modest, roughly $10 to $22 per day per campaign. At that level, there is no room for guesswork. Each campaign has to earn its spend and drive a real action, not just clicks.
  • Bookings need both reach and intent: Some people are already searching for a go-kart track and are ready to book. Others have never heard of the venue and need to be shown why it is worth a visit. The plan had to capture ready-to-buy demand and build new demand at the same time.
  • Results must be measurable: The client needed to see clear outcomes, like bookings, conversions, and contacts, not vanity numbers.

Our Strategies

TRooInbound built a two-channel paid engine and split the work by buyer intent:

  • Catch high-intent buyers on Google: We used Google Search to reach people already looking for a go-kart track or an event venue, so the venue shows up right when someone is ready to book.
  • Build demand on Meta: We used Facebook and Instagram to reach families and motorsports fans who were not searching yet, and warm them up with the experience.
  • Run always-on and event campaigns together: We kept an evergreen first-visit campaign running at all times, then layered in event and lead pushes for parties, memberships, and special races.
  • Segment the Meta audiences: We built separate ad sets for motorsports interest, parents, birthdays, and people showing conversion intent, so each group got a message that fit.
  • Protect the budget: We set daily caps and optimized every campaign to cost per result, moving spend toward what worked and away from what did not.
Test the creative: We ran video against static ads to see which format drove cheaper, better results.

The Result

Google Ads Results

Google Ads Results

For the July 2026 reporting period, a combined ad spend of about $2,900 across Google Ads and Meta drove real, measurable results:

  • 67 conversions on Google Ads: 1,081 clicks at a $1.25 average CPC produced 67 tracked conversions at a 6.20% account-wide conversion rate.
  • 8.00% conversion rate on the hero campaign: The evergreen first-visit search campaign delivered 30 conversions at just $10.14 each, keeping new bookings flowing month after month.
  • 126,722 impressions on Meta: About $1,540 in Meta spend reached 46,749 people, broad local awareness for a small budget.
  • $2.87 cost per conversion: The best Meta audience, racing enthusiasts and parents, drove 45 website conversions at under $3 each.
  • 37 results at $16.41 on static ads: Evergreen static ads reached nearly 30,000 people, and video ads added another 16 results, showing which formats were worth scaling.
  • Every dollar measured: Each campaign was tied to a real action, whether a Google conversion or a Meta conversion, contact, or page visit, so the client always knew what its budget was buying.
