Client Overview

Legalspace is an AI platform built only for the Indian legal world. Solo lawyers, law firms, and corporate legal teams use it to research, draft, and manage cases in one place. Its AI is trained on Indian case law, statutes, and judgments, so every answer comes with real citations, and all data stays private on Indian servers.

The product was strong, but it was new to the market. Legalspace needed a reliable way to reach the right Indian lawyers, get them into a free trial, and turn those trials into paying, supported customers, month after month. That is where we came in.

Their Challenges

Their Challenges

  • No market awareness: Legalspace was launching into a busy AI moment, and almost no Indian lawyers had heard of the platform yet. There was no existing demand to tap into, so every signup had to be earned.
  • A niche, trust-first audience: Lawyers are careful buyers. They worry about data privacy and whether an AI actually understands Indian law. Generic ads and vague promises fall flat with this group, so the message had to earn trust before it asked for a signup.
  • High cost to win each signup: A narrow B2B audience means smaller search volumes and pricier clicks. Without tight targeting and constant optimization, the cost to acquire each lawyer can climb fast and eat the budget.
  • Trials that stall before paying: Getting a free-trial signup is only half the job. Without timely follow-up, most trials go cold and never turn into paying users, wasting the money spent to acquire them.

Our Strategies

Our Strategies & Planned Solutions

  • Audience and market research: We mapped the three buyer types, solo lawyers, law firms, and corporate legal teams, and what makes each one say yes.
  • Keyword and intent mapping: We found the terms lawyers actually search for and sorted them by volume, intent, and bid range, so budget went to searches that convert.
  • Competitor gap analysis: We studied other Indian legal-tech tools to find weak spots in their messaging, targeting, and pricing that Legalspace could win on.
  • Channel and message plan: We decided what to say on Google versus Meta, which influencers to work with, and which trust signals to lead with for a legal audience.
  • Clean conversion tracking: We set up accurate tracking so every signup was tied back to the right channel, ad, and keyword, giving us honest numbers to act on.
  • Parallel launch across channels: We ran paid search, paid social, influencer, and organic together so they reinforced each other instead of competing for the same click.
  • Continuous optimization: We reviewed performance regularly, moved budget toward what worked, and kept refining ad copy, targeting, and the email nurture flow.

Our Planned Solutions

  • Google Ads (₹25,000/month). High-intent search campaigns. Lawyers looking for legal research, drafting, and case tools were sent straight to the free trial.
  • Meta Ads (₹15,000/month). Facebook and Instagram ads to build awareness and retarget lawyers who visited the site but did not sign up.
  • Influencer marketing. We partnered with trusted legal voices and advocates whose followers are exactly the lawyers Legalspace wants to reach.
  • Social media marketing. Steady organic content that explained the product, shared legal-tech tips, and built credibility over time.
  • 3-day free trial with email nurture. Every visitor got a 3-day free trial, followed by a timed email chain that nudged them to upgrade to a paid plan.
  • Personal onboarding and after-sales support. A sales rep personally reached out to each new signup to guide them, answer queries, and provide real after-sales support.

The Result

  • 400+ Total signups per month
  • 180+ Signups from Google Ads
  • 150+ Signups from Meta Ads
  • 50+ Signups from Organic SEO
  • ₹40,000 Total monthly ad spend
  • ₹90-100 Blended cost per signup, across all channels

Legalspace now has more than good numbers. It has a repeatable system. Paid channels bring the right lawyers in, organic content and influencers build trust, and personal onboarding turns free trials into paying, supported customers, predictably, month after month.
